I see the Wall Street reconstruction project is estimated at $8M and College/Winona at $6M. That is $14M for 2 projects in one year. With all of the uproar and angst on the spending this year with the Maple Street, Adams/Lincoln and Roosevelt reconstruction, perhaps the city should take a step back and see how the usage is on the projects that were done this summer before committing to spend $14M next year. Is that number actually accurate? There was a sizeable overrun on the Adams Street piece this summer with having to move underground pipes, fire hydrants etc.
