I support the passage of this item. With an ever increasing amount of COVID-19 virus transmission across the nation and within a state who sees between 250 and 750 new cases each day, the public needs to take more effective action at minimizing transmission opportunities. I ask local and state government to continue to find ways to engage its residents and this is an excellent way to improve community health and enabling safer commerce.

I strongly support approval of this item. With rising cases nation-wide, ;especially amongst younger persons, and in anticipation of many many 18-22 year olds returning to Northfield as classes at the two colleges resume, it seems prudent to *require* that everyone wear masks in public, or at least in all indoor public spaces.
