I am concerned about what seems like a very rushed process for this project. The six homeowners who would be directly affected received their first notification just last week (on May 1-2) that this project would be discussed at the Council meeting on May 7. One of those homeowners is out of town and hasn’t even seen the letter & map. Nearby neighbors, who also have concerns, were not notified at all and were very surprised to learn about the prospect. I hope there can be more time allowed for discussion of the current need for this sidewalk, the route itself, and the timing. I am NOT opposed to the idea of a sidewalk on Ivanhoe for safety; I am deeply concerned about the current process.
