I strongly support the City Council approving the Solar Garden Subscription Agreement with CF Novel Solar Gardens Five. It is the right thing for Northfield and for our climate. I am so grateful to the Council for their foresight and leadership on this vital issue.

I strongly support resolution 2017-062, approving the Solar Garden Subscription Agreement. I attended the July 18 city council meeting where this proposal was discussed, and I have read the Community Solar Presentation that is available under the agenda for the August 8 city council meeting. Participating in the solar garden will provide financial benefits for the city. More importantly, it will provide clean energy for the city and will help us move away from fossil fuels. Much evidence shows that climate change is our biggest challenge as a society. Fortunately, we have ways to meet that challenge that will strengthen our economy.
I thank the city council for taking action on this issue.

I support the resolution. We should be doing the right environmental things.
