Interesting to review the city of Northfield disbursements. The two consultants, Bob and Bruce, who do NOT live in Northfield are paid $5000 each periodically for their opinions on the direction of city development yet the city council turns a deaf ear to local concerns of residents. Also noted is the cost of running the municipal liquor store. Most recent disbursement is $76,000 for purchases. Do we as taxpayers have any idea how much it does cost to run/manage a municipal liquor store and is it an economically wise decision to build a new one? Heads up folks- responsible spending is everyone’s concern. The end of the year budget calendar will include the city levy. Hold on to your money clip.
